This photo on the left shows a steam boiler being inspected 14 weeks after having a unit installed. It shows a thin grey deposit of Aragonite where there used to be extensive loose fragments. Normally in 6 weeks these boilers produce of 5Kg of hard scale which needed to be chipped off, when treated the boiler produced less than 1Kg of easily removable Aragonite. Maintenance has been reduced from monthly to twice yearly. |
